Gay / homosexual marriage proponents abuse the term "marriage equality" to advocate support for their position. However, they do not actually believe in marriage equality because if they did they would also support polygamy (polygyny and polyandry), group marriage, pedophilia, incest, intergenerationality, and bestiality. Gay marriage advocates hate it when their hypocrisy and inconsistency is exposed on this issue.
If marriage, which is defined by God as between a man a woman, can be redefined to be between two men or two women then it logically follows that marriage can be redefined to be between or among any number or type of different people, animals, and things. The reason that when marriage is redefined once it can be further redefined any number of times is that proponents of redefinition have not provided an alternate standard of morality for which they can account. In actuality they wish to have a standard of morality in which they themselves or society at large can define. Such a standard of morality that can be defined by a person or society can thus be changed freely at will.
The standard of morality which defined marriage as between a man and a woman was based on the Christian scriptures. Gay marriage advocates want to remove any reference to Christian morality as they seek to advance marriage equality.
Thus, once society has redefined marriage to include homosexual marriage, society can then redefine marriage to mean anything. Society could even redefine marriage to exclude heterosexual or traditional marriage. Some people are already advocating for the legalization of incest, pedophilia, and intergenerationality.
Because same sex marriage proponents are not consistent in advocating for actual marriage equality when they use the term "marriage equality" they are engaging in Orwellian "truth speak."
